JMack- Jay Dott to some, the North Texas Titan to most, Mic Bully to those not reppin it right; JMack is an MC and a rapper's rapper, he has been an active member and collaborator in DFW Hip Hop for the past several years. “Texas Sized” which was featured on Unsigned Shines earned him a name as a signature representative of his state. Years after, he comes with one of the sharpest styles the south has ever seen in an MC bringing silence to any doubters in a matter of a few lines. He holds the most intense stage presence with breath control, technical skills, and vivid lyricism only of an elite MC. Bouncing across all lanes concerning Rap and Hip Hop, JMack stands to prove the south is not the reason for the demise of this culture we hold close to our hearts. He brings a positive message hidden in his music amongst topics not easily discussed in regular competition let alone music. But he also has a darker side of raw hip hop long forgotten by most artists and fans. Too much focus has been placed on not only catchiness, but political correctness when other genres of music are allowed to bring complete explicity and are never demanded to be censored. JMack will be immediate in silencing anyone claiming that hip hop, one of the purest forms of raw energy, should be the only genre of music to change up their lyrics to appease people who are not even interested in knowing about the culture.

Shanna Poteet was born in Arkansas in 1980 but grew up in Lubbock Texas after being adopted at age 6 by Bill and Margaret Poteet. At the tender age of 3 while in foster homes, Shanna knew that she wanted to be a dancer but did not start dance classes until the age of 6. While growing up in Lubbock she started out at Diana’s Dance Studio studying ballet, tap and jazz. During the 9 years with the studio, Shanna traveled to different competitions and workshops to improve her dancing. It was at one particular workshop in 1993, in Dallas TX, that they had their first hip hop class. She immediately fell in love with the

dancing, moves and feeling that came with hip hop.
